Mountain Gait Acres is dedicated to the breeding and training of naturally-gaited, people- friendly Tennessee Walking Horses for trail and versatility. The spotlight of our program is breeding Silver Dapple Tennessee Walking horses with good temperament, excellent conformation, and a natural way of going.

The heart of our training is the use of natural horsemanship techniques that consider the age and mental maturity of the horse. Our horses are handled daily and are expected to be disciplined and respectful producing horses that are responsive, eager to be your companion on the trail, and who will greet you at the gate.
